The final Sub-genre I have chosen is....

The reason I have chosen to base my magazine on the genre 'Indie' is because I think there is a gap in the market for an upcoming artists who not yet been discovered. At the moment in the charts there is James Arthur who won the X Factor and Ed Sheeran, in my opinion these are the main Indie artists in the top 40 and I think they are very successful and they have both had No.1 hits. Also Indie music is very different form any other music, and I think by focusing my magazine on Indie music it would make my magazine different from others and stand out.
