The colours I have chosen to use is 

Black, White and Light Blue  

The reason why I picked this colour scheme, was because the colours complimented each other, also the colours are bright/vibrant and would stand out against any other Indie magazine.

This magazine cover inspired me to pick the colours that I have, because the colour Blue went well with the genre 'Indie'. The blue appeals to both boys and girls and also the colour is eye catching, this would draw people in to look at the magazine.
